The tournament, scheduled to take place from December 9-15, is a six team competition between U23 Vietnam, U23 Myanmar, U23 Japan, U23 Uzbekistan, U23 Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, and the host, U23 Thailand.
Vietnam’s team is in Group B with U23 Uzbekistan and U23 Myanmar.

The U23 Vietnam squad will play U23 Myanmar in their first match on December 9.
They will then face off against U23 Uzbekistan on December 13. 
Two groups of three teams will compete in a round-robin format. 
The winner of each group will go on to compete in the final, with the second placed team in each group playing for third position in the tournament.
If U23 Vietnam can secure first place in Group B, they will qualify for the final round, taking place in December 15. If they rank second, they will play off for third place on the same day.
