Vietnam’s U23 football team take training in Hanoi

The players enjoy technique training a lot more than the gruelling physical sessions earlier in the day.

They practise hitting and passing the ball under the direction of coach Park Hang Seo.

Lee Young Jin, 54, was a former player for the Republic of Korea from 1989-1994.

Assistant Lee Young Jin has made a great impact on many important decisions of coach Park Hang Seo.

Coach Park Hang Seo (left) believes Cong Phuong will bring an element of surprise to the Vietnamese football team and hopes Phuong will become a key player for the national team in the near future.

Coming up next on the footballing calendar, the Vietnam U23 team will compete in the international friendly football tournament M-150 Cup 2017 in Thailand as preparation for the Asian Football Federation (AFC) U23 Championship 2018 finals scheduled for January next year.
