The second set saw Nam enjoy a good start, taking the lead with a score of 4/2 before going on to lose his advantage, finally being defeated 4/6 by Oliveira. The match finished 2-0 in favour of the Portuguese tennis player.
Despite suffering a defeat at the hands of Oliveira, Nam was still able to add five points to his ATP rankings.
Nam’s schedule will now see the 22-year-old player jet off to Taiwan in order to compete in the Men’s Futures M25, which is scheduled to take place between July 22 and July 28. The total prize money for the tournament has been set at US$25,000.
