The 95th death is a 68-year-old woman from HCM City, who tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 on June 30 and was transferred to Binh Chanh District Hospital a day later for acute respiratory failure, severe pneumonia, severe hypokalemia, SARS-CoV-2 infection.She died on the evening of July 3 with a diagnosis of pneumonia due to SARS-CoV-2 infection’s complications, progressive respiratory failure, suspected acute myocardial infarction or pulmonary embolism.The next fatality is a 64-year-old woman from the southern province of Dong Thap, who died on July 4 at Sa Dec General Hospital with her cause of death attributed to pneumonia caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, progressive respiratory failure, heart failure, type-2 diabetes and Cushing's syndrome.The final death is a 64-year-old man also from Dong Thap. He passed away on the early morning of July 4 and his cause of death was recorded as pneumonia caused by SARS-CoV-2, and progressive respiratory failure in a patient with ischemic heart disease as well as hypertension.

The latest deaths brought the nation’s COVID-19 death count to 62 in the latest wave, and 97 since the beginning of the pandemic, with many of them suffering several comorbidities, and pneumonia caused by SARS-CoV-2 infection’s complications.
