The remaining four patients were aged between 43 and 85 and came from Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta province of Dong Thap.
They had been suffering from a number of other chronic illnesses, including stroke, hypertension, heart failure, diabetes (type II), and Thalassemia splenectomy.
Each of the individuals had previously tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus and subsequently passed away after being admitted to hospital for treatment.
The latest deaths therefore brought the national COVID-19 death toll up to 110.
