We’ve reached an agreement to ship an initial 18 metric tons of mangoes for sale at supermarkets, said Nguyen The Bao, director of the Cooperative with options for additional shipments dependent upon sales.
Mr Bao said he attributes the lucrative deal to the Cooperative’s compliance with VietGap and Globalgap standards, strict limited use of pesticides and use of bio-organic fertilizer to produce safe, clean fruit.
