So far, businesses from more than 20 provinces and cities have registered to take part.
At the event, the Department of Industry and Trade of Dong Thap Province in the Mekong Delta will hold a trade connection meeting at 2pm on August 3 to present the provincial specialities to Da Nang businesses. Besides, a delegation from the Trade and Investment Promotion Centre of the Southwestern An Giang Province will carry out fact-finding tours of Con and Hoa Cuong markets on August 2 and 4.
The annual EWEC International Trade, Investment and Tourism Fair in Da Nang is part of the national trade promotion program approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
More than 100 units and businesses have so far registered to attend the fair and display their products across 200 stands. They include 18 trade promotion centres of provinces and cities in Vietnam and international organizations such as the Indonesian Embassy and Lao Embassy in Hanoi, Thai General Consulate in HCM City, Chinese General Consulate in Da Nang, the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the Ministry of Tourism of Cambodia, the Myanmar Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Departments of Industry and Commerce of Lao provinces of Salavan, Khammuane, and Savannakhet.
