In her opening remarks, the NA Chairwoman said the session will be divided into two sessions, with the first one being from March 12-13, and the remainder will be from March 19-20.Participants will give opinions on draft laws, including the draft Law on amendments and supplements to some articles of the Education Law; the draft Law on amendments and supplements to some articles of the Higher Education Law; the draft Law on Measurement and Map; the draft revised Law on Competition; and the draft Law on Special Administrative-Economic Units.Question-and-answer (Q&A) sessions will be included in the event. The meeting will not consider the organization of votes of confidence for the person holding positions that was elected and approved by the NA and the People's Councils. The ballot will be made at the second session of the NA this year. The submission of three draft laws including the Law on Coast Guards, the Urban Development and Management Law, and the draft revised Anti-Corruption Law will be postponed due to lack of comments from some authorities, Ngan said. During the morning sitting of March 12, the NA Standing Committee commented on the Decree on funding for the use of irrigation public services and products; and on the different opinions of the draft Law on Measurement and Map.
