Through the event entitled ASEAN Song Contest, we aim to promote and stimulate artistic creativity, discover new singers, promote their talent and stimulate the development of their music careers, said VOV.
The contest is organized as part of the activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of ASEAN and the 72nd anniversary since the formation of VOV (September 7, 1945-2017).
Registration for the contest is now open and if you are a singer or composer wishing to participate, please visit www.aseansongcontest.com for complete information on requirements and registration procedures.
The deadline for registering is July 10.
Applicants are also invited to nominate two singers aged 18-35 to participate in the contest during registration. If selected, VOV will cover the cost of accommodation, meals and transport for the winners to attend the competition.
