The new statue, at a total cost of VND7 billion, stands 7.2 meters tall with a 2.7-meter base.
The memorial was designed by Vietnamese painter and sculptor Lam Quang Noi, standing as a symbol of the city people’s eternal love for the nation’s founding father.
