For the eight months January-August, the EU with revenue of US$6.7 billion was the largest export market trailed by the UAE at US$3.17 billion, the US at US$1.78 billion and Germany at US$1.2 billion.

Consignments of computers, electronics and components also shot up year-on-year to US$9.99 billion for the period with exports to the EU leading at US$1.97 billion followed by the US at US$1.74 billion, China at US$1.72 billion, and Hong Kong at US$1.15 billion.
