“The exhibition is one of the leading forums of its kind in Asia,” said Do Thang Hai, deputy minister of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in a keynote speech kicking off the event.

Deputy Minister Hai said the event meets the needs of the industry by offering not just a showcase of the latest machine tools and solutions, but also a platform for local companies to meet face-to-face with international manufacturing market leaders and hammer out trade deals.

It also allows local companies the opportunity to get updated on the latest global industry trends and acquire first-hand knowledge of the happenings in the industry, said Deputy Minister Hai.

At the event, named brand exhibitors are showcasing the latest state-of-the-art technologies and modernized manufacturing solutions with everything from cutting, moulding and tooling systems to the industrial metrology equipment, to name only a few items.

Three seminars revolving around advanced technologies and their application are also on the agenda for the exhibition.
