In the first four months of this year, more than 6.7 million tons of cement and clinker valuing at US$235 million were shipped abroad, up 12.8% and 7.9%, respectively.Bangladesh and the Philippines were the two biggest importers of Vietnam’s cement and clinker, of which Bangladesh made up 37% and the Philippines accounted for more than 32%. Other major importers are Peru, Taiwan, Sri Lanka, Mozambique, Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos and Australia.
