The province earned US$276.48 million from exports, up 9.9%. Of which, US$63.8 million was from shipping 126,860 tonnes of rice abroad, up 42.17% in volume and 54.8% in value. Meanwhile, up to 36,900 tonnes of frozen aquatic products worth US$84 million were shipped abroad during the period. Among them, tra fish saw an 8.5% reduction in export volume but an increase of 14.2% in export value. In order to boost exports this year, the province has regularly updated policies and information about export markets and promptly removed obstacles to the export of key products such as rice and tra fish. The province has also flexibly directed cross-border trade and regularly maintained trade promotion activities, especially in border districts, contributing to raising its exports.
