The diplomat conveyed his best regards to the footballers concerning their recovery from sports injuries and training and commended head coach Park Hang Seo for instilling a spirit of solidarity and determination in the brave young players.
The diplomat wished the footballers and coaching staff the best fortune in their preparations for the upcoming semi-final so that they might meet the aspirations of local fans and Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
On behalf of the coaching staff, head coach Park Hang Seo was grateful for the ambassador’s encouragement, saying that these Vietnamese footballers will do their utmost in next match to ensure they meet the aspirations of local fans.
On behalf of the diplomatic staff from the Vietnamese embassy and representative agencies in China, Ambassador Khoi also granted a sum of US$5,000 to the national team.
