This comes as no surprise as the national team have not played any competitive fixtures or friendlies on FIFA dates in recent times.

The global rankings indicate that the country is the leading side in Southeast Asia, as well as being the 13th best team in Asia.

Furthermore, Thailand came in at 106th in the world, with the Philippines and Myanmar at 125th and 139th, respectively. This is followed by Malaysia at 153rd, Singapore in 159th, and Indonesia down at 173rd.

The top three spots are occupied by powerhouses Belgium, France, and Brazil, while in Asia, Japan ranks first, followed by Iran, the Republic of Korea, and Australia.

However, the FIFA rankings are likely to change in August due to games being played as part of World Cup qualifiers in the Asian region, along with the Arab Cup, UEFA Euro 2020, and the Copa America.
