Former US women’s national team footballer Linda Hamilton in Vietnam 
Twenty-five students of the Da Nang University of Physical Education And Sports’s football faculty received training from the US envoys on playing and organising sport events.

The sport programme was rounded off in the central city with a football festival for 100 pupils of Da Nang’s SOS Children's Village and Nguyen Dinh Chieu school for visually impaired students.

The Sports Envoy programme is a global sports mentoring programme of the US Department of State. It mobilises professional athletes, coaches and administrators in a range of sports to engage underserved youth, particularly girls.-
