The release of the white book aims to provide information for those with an interest in e-sports, thereby helping individuals and organisations to operate in an effective manner.

The data provided in the book have been collected from interviews conducted with 50 senior managers from domestic and foreign businesses in the e-sports industry, and from responses to over 10,000 questionnaires.

The Vietnamese version of the white book is set to be officially published on February 1.

During the launching ceremony of the white book, organisers unveiled that the country is due to hold both the Vietnamese E-sport Championship and the University E-sport Championship annually.

Each event will involve a total of 10 competition categories, including Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, PUPG Mobile, Free Fire, FIFA Online 4, and PES 2021.

The leading competitors will subsequently be selected to participate in future regional and international tournaments.
