The latest rankings sees Nam climb up a total of 29 places with a total of 119 points. This represents the best ranking in his career and is also the highest ranking a Vietnamese player has ever achieved.

This comes following Nam improving his position after winning three consecutive matches in the men’s singles at the ITF Men’s World Tennis Tour M15 Tay Ninh professional tournament - Hai Dang Cup.

Moving forward, the leading Vietnamese tennis player is aiming to enter the top 300 of the ATP rankings.

The Tay-Ninh born player will take part in a training camp in Thailand before flying fly to Malaysia to compete in two professional tournaments. After that, he will then link up with the Vietnamese tennis team to compete at the Davis Cup.

In late August, Nam will join two Challenge tournaments in Thailand and two M25 tournaments held in Tay Ninh.
