It took Nam (ranked no 913) 56 minutes to defeat Reinwein (ranked no 969) in the first set, 6-2.
However, the German competitor staged a determined comeback dominating the second and third sets (7-6, 6-3) to secure the win.
After the event, Nam will stay in China to compete at the F2 Futures set for February 22-28.
