Nam, ranked 475 in the world and the tournament’s No.3 seed, won both sets 6-1 in a rapid 53 minutes in India’s Chandigarh city. The Vietnamese player had lost their two previous meetings.In the semi-final on March 16, Nam will face Spanish player Boluda Purkiss, the No.2 seed.
