Kizuna Ekiden 2017- Run for Traffic Safety 
Each of a 4-member team will run a distance of 3.4km in a Marathon relay race around Hoan Kiem Lake.

Ekiden which means the bonds of friendship, is a long-distance relay race originated in Japan. 

With Japanese support, the program Traffic Safety in Vietnam with Doraemon and Kizuna Ekiden Run are held in Vietnam annually with the aim of providing traffic safety knowledge, skills and abilities and protecting children from traffic accidents.

According to the organizing board, many foreigners working and residing in Vietnam have registered to take part in the open tournament.
