The event is expected to attract 5 martial arts delegations nationwide and 12 international teams, including those from Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Republic of Korea.

A wide range of activities, including martial art performances, seminars and competitions will be planned during the festival.

The event is an opportunity to promote both the Vietnamese traditional and the Vovinam martial arts styles as a contribution to raising the city’s image.

Corporation No 1 is the main sponsor of the festival, said the organising board.
