Hanoi, HCM City win titles in 2018 National Beach Handball Championship

In the men’s event, the Ho Chi Minh City team won the championship title after their defeat of the District 10 team of HCM City in the final.

While in women’s event, Hanoi trounced Ho Chi Minh City in the final round to take the overall win.

This year’s tournament was organized by the Vietnam Handball Federation and Binh Thuan Province’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

It attracted more than 100 athletes from 5 men’s teams and 5 women’s teams from across the country.

The teams competed following a one-round format, with the 4 teams on the highest points progressing to the semi-final round.
