Players, most of them World Cup participants, will meet on October 2 in Ho Chi Minh City to train at Thai Son Nam Gymnasium.
The championship will be held in Bangkok, Thailand from October 31 to November 8.

Vietnam is in Group A with Timor -Leste , Brunei and hosts Thailand. Group B will include Myanmar, Laos, Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia.
Vietnam and Thailand are the two ASEAN representatives at the ongoing Colombian World Cup. They were, however, both eliminated from the final-16 round last week.
The two teams remain top candidates for the regional tournament.
