Accordingly, FPT Play has obtained the media rights monopoly on all infrastructure, ground, cable, satellite, internet, internet, IPTV, mobile, radio, public slideshows, and social media.

The tech giant is therefore planning to negotiate with other domestic and foreign broadcasters in order to share its rights so the tournament can reach an even larger audience.

Domestically, Vietnam Television (VTV) has become the first unit to co-operate with FPT Play in order to be able to broadcast all matches on VTV5 and VTV6.

Moving forward, the AFF U23 Championship 2022 is scheduled to take place from February 14 to February 26.

Vietnam have been drawn in Group C alongside Thailand and Singapore. Group A comprises or hosts Cambodia, Timor-Leste, the Philippines, and Brunei. Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Laos are in Group B.

The teams are scheduled to play in a round-robin format, with the three top teams in the groups and the best second-place team progressing to compete in the semi-finals.

Vietnam earned a bronze medal in the 2019 edition of the competition after beating the hosts Cambodia 1-0 in the third-place playoff.
