Manh was sent off in the 75th minute of the semi-final match against Indonesia after he trampled on player Bayu Pradana last month.Vietnam lost the match and was eliminated from the tournament.
AFC said it was a non-sporting behaviour.
As a result, Manh cannot take part in the 2019 Asian Cup. He will not be attending the national team’s training course to prepare for the competition, which begins in March.

The Vietnam Football Federation was also fined US$38,000 as local fans broke the Indonesian team’s bus window after Vietnam lost.
