This month, a communication campaign is set to feature daily radio broadcasts on the benefit of using antiretroviral drugs (ARV) in early pregnancy for women who have contracted HIV, as well as information on ARV distribution locations.
Free consultation and check-ups will be organised at HIV hotbeds and in disadvantaged areas.
In 2014, 57.1% of HIV-infected pregnant women received ARV therapy, and 64.7% of expectant mothers received HIV tests.
