The MOU was signed by representatives of the Vietnam Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (Molisa) and the Occupational Safety and Health Agency of the Republic of Korea during a meeting in Hanoi where leaders from both agencies and over a dozen CEOs from each country gathered to discuss the future of their bilateral economic relationship.The partnership between our two countries has advanced and transformed the economic and social development of Vietnam, said Doan Mau Diep, deputy minister of Molisa, at the signing ceremony.We can achieve even more together, Diep continued, saying that Molisa is excited for the positive gains this new effort will deliver.The agreement outlines the agencies intent to work together on policy, advocacy, and business promotion efforts to improve worker safety. By cooperating more closely, the two agencies hope to strengthen the growing trade and investment relationship between the countries.In addition, he said, the signing of the agreement signifies a mutual interest in creating a permanent dialogue among not only the governments of the two countries but also with the business leaders to provide insight to grow and compete in the global economy and strengthen our partnership for common growth.
