The huge bomb weighing nearly 300 kilograms, measuring 1.6 metres in length and 30 centimetres in diameter, was discovered on November 2 by residents.

Colonel Tran Van Thiet of the military command told reporters the bomb has been cordoned off with a fence and warning signs posted.  It will be expeditiously transferred to the Duc Xuyen military ground in Krong No District and defused.
