According to the National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 10 am on October 15, the centre of the tropical storm was situated at 20.1 0 N latitude and 114.20 E longitude, about 350 km east of Hainan Island.

The strongest wind power near its center of the typhoon was estimated at 12-13 category packing winds of up to 115-150 kph.

Over the next 24 hours, the typhoon will move west at a speed of 20 km per hour.

In the next 24 to 48 hours, it will move southwest at a speed of 10-15 kph and continue to weaken into a tropical depression.

Over the next 48 to 60 hours, the tropical depression will move south-southwest at 5 km per hour and will weaken into a low pressure system.

The typhoon will bring heavy rains, rough seas and thunderstorms to the northern part of the East Sea and waters in Binh Thuan ,Ca Mau and Kien Giang provinces.
