Although there were warning shouts about the fire, two night shift workers were unable to escape the spreading inferno.
The two victims were identified as Vo Van Duong (43) and Ha Thi Le (45) from the central province of Ha Tinh.
Immediately after receiving reports of the blaze, ten fire engines arrived at the scene to battle the raging fire.
Machinery and many wooden materials inside the workshop have been completely destroyed. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
