Buddha’s birthday is the big holiday of Buddhist monks, nuns and followers in Vietnam and around the world.

Lanterns and Buddhist flags are hung at pagodas and along streets to celebrate the Buddhist Culture Week.

The procession of flower vehicles and Buddha relics was held at Quan Su Pagoda –HQs of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Central Committee on the evening of May 9.

Most Venerable Thich Thanh Nhieu, Deputy Supreme Patriarch of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS), processed Buddha relics to a flower vehicle.

Buddha relics was put in Stupa tower.

The procession kicks off the Buddhist Culture Week.
