The event was part of the 17th annual conference of the ASEAN Occupational Safety and Health Network (ASEAN-OSHNET) held in Danang from April 26-28, offering a venue for regional member countries and partners to share experience in carrying out labour safety and hygiene programmes and learn about difficulties in creating a safe and friendly working environment.Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Doan Mau Diep informed the participants on the outcomes of the ASEAN-OSHNET conference, saying that it adopted the 2016-2020 action plan, on the pillars of further improving labour safety and hygiene standards, improving workforce quality and generating a safe and friendly working environment.At the forum, several participants shared their experience in conducting labour safety and hygiene programmes.
