The two localities have planted 60 border markers so far, and handed over to border safeguard forces, which have their fulfilled tasks of ensuring security and social order at border areas.
The planting and reinforcing the Vietnam-Laos land border will contribute to strengthening national defence, ensuring political stability and spurring socio-economic development of border localities, as well as consolidating friendship and solidarity between the two nations.
