The event, co-organised by the Vietnam Investment Review and the Foreign Investment Agency under the Ministry of Planning and Investment, is expected to attract more than 144 representatives from diplomatic corps, international organisations and the business community.

The tournament aims to raise funds to support outstanding students from low-income families. According to the board, the award ceremony will be held in the Kings’ Island golf resort at 18:00 the same day.

Over the past eight years, the organising board has granted more than 11,000 scholarships to students from low-income families and supported the construction of schools and classrooms in 38 provinces and cities nationwide with a total value of nearly VND8 billion.

As scheduled, two full scholarships worth VND10 million each will be granted to two students from Thai Nguyen and Hanoi on April 10.
