Medical staff depart for HCM City to support COVID-19 battle

VOV.VN - Approximately 200 doctors and medical staff at hospitals in the central region have headed to Ho Chi Minh City in order to support southern provinces in their ongoing battle against COVID-19.

Roughly 200 doctors and nurses from the central provinces board flight numbered VN129 put on by national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines on August 27, with the plane departing from Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh City in an effort to bolster support for the COVID-19 fight in southern localities.

This marks the fifth time that Hue Central Hospital has provided support and mobilised medical staff for the Hue Central Center for Resuscitation of COVID-19 Patients in Ho Chi Minh City.
