Ly A Chong
Ly A Chong, 54, residing in Song Ma district, Son La province, was apprehended at 4pm on June 27 while in the process of smuggling a large volume of synthetic drug and opium latex.

Police also confiscated a motorbike, a mobile phone and other related evidence.

The suspect confessed to having bought the drugs from an unknown man and that he intended to profit from the sale and distribution of the drugs.

Further investigations are underway.
