According to the National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting (NCHMF) , the heat wave is expected to end on around July 4 and 5. The Central Highlands enjoys cooler weather of around 30-33 degrees Celsius in the next ten days while temperature in the South is below 35 degrees Celsius, the centre forecast. The southwest monsoon causes rough sea along coastal provinces from Binh Thuan in southern central region to southernmost Ca Mau.
Hot spell expected to end in next five days
Hot spell is likely to continue across northern and central Vietnam in the next five days, with temperature hovering around 35–38 degrees Celsius and may touching 39–40 degrees Celsius in several mountainous locations.
