At the ceremony, Department officials said they are hopeful the new 240 metres long and 6 metres wide flyover will help alleviate the traffic congestion that has plagued the intersection for the past several years.
The same day, construction of a double tunnel at the An Suong intersection between the City’s district 12 and Hoc Mon district began, hoping to help clear up traffic problems in the western and eastern regions.
