No fatalities have been reported.
The incident took place in the morning at a gas transmission plant, said Nguyen Dang San, deputy head of Bac Ninh industrial zones’ management board.
He said that two victims were sent to the National Burns Hospital in Hanoi, two others to Bac Ninh provincial hospital, and the remainder went to Thuan Thanh district hospital.
The explosion caused estimated damages of over VND2 billion (roughly US$100,000).
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
