The fire was spotted at 19:45 on May 9, after breaking out on the 25th floor
According to a witness, they saw plumes of smoke coming from the building and immediately notified the local authorities.
Within minutes, flames had engulfed the 25th floor, with smoke billowing from the building.
A witness says five people were working on that floor at the time, thankfully they all made a safe escape. The fire then spread from the 25th to the 26th floor.
After the alarm was raised, 15 fire engines and equipment for fighting high-rise fires were mobilized to the scene to extinguish the fire.

 

The inferno was brought under control by 20:20 and the reported property damage was minimal. 
More than 60 fire fighters were dispatched to the scene to tackle the blaze. Many curious passers-by gathered to look at the fire, causing prolonged traffic congestion.
 
No fatalities have been reported as a result of the fire. The case is still under investigation.
