Several witnesses said they heard a large explosion before flames began to rise from the warehouse.
Upon receiving the news, rescue forces, firefighters, and 10 fire engines were dispatched to the scene. 
According to a reporter, a narrow entrance made access difficult for the firefighters.

It took the firefighters about an hour for the fire to be brought under control.


According to a representative from Tan Trieu Commune People's Committee, although no casualties were reported, the fire has caused huge property damage.

A further investigation is underway to identify the cause of the initial explosion.
Two other huge fires have recently occurred in the locale. 
There was a fire at a beer restaurant on March 4. The blaze spread to the 6 nearby houses, destroying them all.
