The activities include an East-West Economic Corridor- Da Nang Trade and Tourism Fair 2017 from August 11-16, a conference on the ASEAN Community and free trade agreements between ASEAN and partners, and an ASEAN Tourism Space from August 10-14.At the same time, Da Nang will launch a contest on the 50th founding anniversary of ASEAN for high school students in September, and an ASEAN tertiary education festival on September 16.An international conference for young researchers at economic and business universities will be held on November 3.The activities aim to promote the development process of the ASEAN over the past 50 years, thus raising the public awareness of opportunities that the association can bring to residents of the member countries, as well as challenges that the member states are together dealing with currently.
