The latest school is being built in the village of Duy Ninh in the district of Quang Ninh in Quang Binh Province and will house approximately 200 children as well as serve as an emergency shelter for the local community.
The budgeted cost of the facility is estimated at US$112,000.
Lam Hai Tuan, CEO of Chubb Life, said the company is incredibly proud to have reached its 7th school milestone. Social responsibility is a cornerstone of how the company runs its business, he said, adding that he and company personnel are excited to be helping the youth of the country have a better life and thrive.
To date, Chubb Life Vietnam has donated nearly US$1 million (VND21.5 billion) in the form of grants, scholarships and funding for the construction of schools along with furnishings and equipment.
