A welcome ceremony held for the Chinese Navy training ship on the morning of May 23.
With hundreds of officers and sailors on board, the visit made by training ship Qi Jiguang aims to consolidate the  solidarity and friendship as well as enhancing mutual understanding and trust between the two countries.
During its stay in Da Nang, the delegation is expected to pay a courtesy visit to leaders of the Da Nang city People's Committee.
In addition, the ship's commander and crew will also pay a courtesy visit to the Military Region 5 Command, the Naval Region 3 Command, as well as some scenic spots throughout the central city.
The Chinese Navy ship's mission will conduct a joint exercise with the Vietnam People's Navy Ship and participate in sports exchanges alongside the Naval Region 3 Command
