Vietnam’s unique culture was distinctively featured in art performances and various pieces of works such as sand paintings by Y Lan, water colour paintings by Truong Han Minh, oil paintings by young talent Nguyen Van Thanh, and bronze statues of Vietnamese women by sculptor Vu Tien.

All these art works were auctioned off to raise money for the building of a “Spring” centre for orphans and poor children in the central province of Nghe An.

Embassy staff donated a day’s salary to help storm and flood victims in the central region.
