The blaze was reported at 8:10am on Monday, September 18. It took firefighters about one hour to get the inferno under control. A fire official said crews would stay on the scene throughout the day spraying water on the building.

Local officials said they were extremely grateful and relived that no one sustained serious injuries.  Thanks to the leadership and determined actions of the fire department the very real potential to severe damage to other structures and people were avoided.
