Ho Chi Minh City recorded the highest number of infections with 1,162, followed by Binh Duong province with 501, and Dong Nai province with 486.

This move will see restaurants and food and beverage service establishments, except for alcohol, beer, and draft beer establishments, permitted to resume operations and serve customers on the premises. However, businesses may run at no more than 50% of capacity and must ensure a safe distance or use partitions.
This dispatch is set to take effect from 6:00 on October 14.
