According to local police, the accident happened at 20:32 p.m. on March 15 when the coach was hit by a truck at the Long Van intersection of National Highway 1D.
After the crash, the coach was left overturned on the road, leaving 12 passengers and the truck driver injured. They were subsequently transported to a local general hospital to undergo treatment.
The rescue work lasted for more than three hours and traffic returned to normal on National Highway 1D shortly afterwards.
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
